This course covers the development of Western Civilization from 1500 to 1900 and concludes prior to the First World War. The emphasis of this course is on European history with global elements. It is designed for students desiring a more in depth look at European History. Modern History is designed for the average to above average student and is recommended as a basic preparatory course for further study in history.
