Course Summary:

This course covers the development of Western Civiliza­tion from 1500 to 1900 and concludes prior to the First World War.  The emphasis of this course is on Europe­an history with global elements. It is designed for students desiring a more in depth look at European History.  Modern History is designed for the average to above average student and is recommended as a basic preparatory course for further study in history.
